The log

No entries yet. When one of our numbers turns out to be wrong, the fix goes here with the date, so you can see what changed and why.

What an entry shows

Each entry will give:

Date
The day the fixed number went live.
Page
The page or planner that showed it.
What
The number in plain words, such as the yield of a bag of mix.
Was and now
The old value and the new one, with units.
Source
The document the right value comes from, with its edition.
Found by
A reader’s report, our own check, or a new edition of the document.

What counts as a correction

  • A number on a page that doesn’t match the document it cites.
  • A planner that does the arithmetic wrong, or applies a rule to a size the document doesn’t cover.
  • A document we cite that was replaced by a new edition with a different value, once a page has shown the old one.

Wording and layout changes are not listed. Neither are values our sources disagree on: those are shown side by side on the Methodology page, with the value each plan uses.
